Using Images Legally

This week I have been working in a children picture dictionary, a sports dictionary in my case. The topic that I have chosen is as I said before, sports, and I have done it with an application called "Calameo" and Drive presentations also, at the beginning. All the pictures that I have used in the dictionary are CC (Creative Commons) or CCO, which they are images that you can use, on some of them (CC) you have to mention the author's name, in others (CCO) you can use the image as you want.

Here is my ownd design that I've made with tinkercad, as you can see, it's a park surounded by a wall, an inside the wall, there is an skate park "u" a basketball small court, and some stands for people that want to sit and watch.

USING TINKERCAD

This week he have started to use an online application called "Tinkercad". This app allows us to create magnific designs in a really easy way. Later, we will use it for the english poyect, so we are learning a bit about it. Here you have some screenshots:

MY NEW WEBSITE

The last months we have been working on our website, a website where we had to promote our business. In my case, I have designed a website where you can buy lots of products by internet, this would help a lot in my produccion. The website is called "The JZ's Hood" (you can enter by clicking the name), and there, you can find a wide variety of products, starting from T-Shirts, to Hip Hop albums or weapons. Finally, I leave here some screenshots of the page for you to see in a quick look how it is.

WHAT TO WATCH OR PLAY AT CHRISTMAS

At christmas, we got time for lot of things, and very attractive thing to do could be watching films, playing games, reading books... On this post, I will recommend you a pair of film and a game. I will start with the two films.

THE TERMINATOR 2
 The first film I recommend you, is "The Terminator 2" this film, is a fiction film combined with action, based on the near future where the robots want to invade the world. For that, 2 robots are coming from the future, one of them is bad, and needs to kill a kid called John Connor, the other one, which is the famous actor called Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to try to protect this kid. And end with the evil terminator.

ONE SPY AND A HALF
This is the second film I want you to watch this holiday if you want to have a bit of fun. It is about a reunion of two old friends. They will meet and do crazy things and they are going to have fun together. They are going to have some problems with the authorities and they will try to solve them.

PLANTS vs ZOMBIES 2

This is an strategy game that I will recommend you If you want to play a game that it will entertain you for hours, days, weeks or months. The game is about you have a house that will recive a zombie attack, and you will have to try the zombies not entering at home, for that, you will have to build your defense in your garden planting different types of flowers that will attack the zombies for like this defending your house.

No To Gender Violence

We have done this campagne to stop violence on women, we started on the 25th of november, the day against this abuse.

Adam Riess

About him:

Adam Guy Riess was born in December 16th of 1969. Adam is a U.S. astrophysicist and Bloomberg Distinguished Professor at Johns Hopkins University, and is known for his research in using supernovae as cosmological probes. Riess shared both the 2006 Shaw Prize in Astronomy and the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics with Saul Perlmutter and Brian P. Schmidtfor providing evidence that the expansion of the universe is accelerating.

Family and live:

Riess was born in Washington, D.C., one of three children.He grew up in Warren, New Jersey, where his father (Naval engineer) Michael Riess owned a frozen-foods distribution company, “Bistro International”, and his mother, Doris Riess, worked as a clinical psychologist. Adam Riess has two sisters— Gail Saltz, a psychiatrist, and Holly Hagerman, an artist. Riess married Nancy Joy Schondorf in 1998.

Education:

He attended Watchung Hills Regional High School, graduating in the class of 1988. He also attended the prestigious New Jersey Governor's School in the Sciences in 1987. Riess then graduated from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992.

Awards:

Riess received the Astronomical Society of the Pacific's Robert J. Trumpler Award in 1999 and Harvard University's Bok Prize in 2001. He won the American Astronomical Society's Helen B. Warner Prize in 2003 and the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize in 2004 for the discovery of cosmic acceleration.

In 2006, he shared the $1 million Shaw Prize in Astronomy with Saul Perlmutter and Brian P. Schmidt for contributions to the discovery of the acceleration of the universe. Along with Perlmutter and Schmidt, he was awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics for his contributions to the discovery of the acceleration of the expansion of the universe.[12]

Riess, along with Brian P. Schmidt, and the High-Z Supernova Search Team shared in the 2015 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.

SOCIAL SITES

Nowadays social sites are one of the most usual webs and apps used mostly by teenagers. But apart from teenagers, more and more adults are using them for entertaining and getting information.

From my point of view, these sites are very useful, for example, you can share photos with your friends only by uploading them to instagram, or you can share photos instantly using snapchat, or you can tell your friend what you are doing publishing a tweet on twitter. All these things you can do in less than a minute... that's amazing!

Secondly, apart from sharing with your friends what you are doing, they are very useful to get information about what's going on in the rest of the world. For example when I wake up in the morning, while I was sleeping a day has passed in the USA, so I get the mobile phone and with only entering instagram, I got all the results and news that in America, have passed in the day, for example news from NBA (basketball) matches results, NFL (football) results and other issues.

Besides, as every good thing, all this technology has its bad sides . One of them is that your privacy is not as private as it was, because all of your photos are to one click to be published. On the other hand, cases of cyberbullying are more usual since kids or young people started using these apps.

To conclude, I think these sites are amazing and are getting better every upgrade that their owner or developers make. The few suggestions I would make to the owners, could be these:

• Snapchat: Pass a history and don't have a suggestion to look it.
• Instagram: The option to  havedevided the photos in sectors, like, sports, friends, music...
• Whatsapp: Have the choice to send files and longer videos.

In my first post I will write about traveling, and where I want to travel around the world. 

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

One of my dreams, is to go to USA, I think it is fantastic, the culture, the people from there, the language and the big cities there are. Furthermore, I listen to Hip-Hop music, and I love it and a thing that is very common in the US is this music, this also attracts me a lot. And finally if I go to this country I want to go to a Hip-Hop concert of Wiz Khalifa, Fetty Wap or Macklemore, this would be amazing!

AMSTERDAM

Two years ago I went to Amsterdam for my first time, and I think that I fell in love with this city. It was fantastic, people are so crazy there, the streets are really beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. The atmosphere is what I liked most from this city, there are a lot of people on the streets, lots of bicycles,

boats in the canals. Also there are very polite and respectful people. For this all reasons, I want to go back to this Dutch city.
